Cuando la investigación se inicie por queja o información, el investigador deberá solicitar al quejoso o informador la ratificación de la queja o de la información, bajo la gravedad del juramento. La imposibilidad de cumplir con esta exigencia, sea cual fuere el motivo, no impide la continuación de la investigación.
