Queda prohibida la venta en el país, con el nombre de café, de productos que contengan menos de cien por ciento (100%) de café en su preparación. Por consiguiente, no podrá darse al expendio café que contenga mezclas con otras sustancias, sea cual fuere el porcientaje de éstas.

Las infracciones a lo aquí dispuesto serán castigadas con multas hasta de cien pesos ($ 100) que impondrá la Dirección Nacional de Higiene, la cual tendrá a su cargo la reglamentación de la presente ley.
