El Consejo Regional se reunirá en sesiones ordinarias al menos una vez cada dos meses o de manera extraordinaria cuando lo soliciten el Presidente del Consejo Regional o en su ausencia el Vicepresidente, el Director de la Región Metropolitana, o la tercera parte de sus miembros.
