Objeto. La presente sección regula los requisitos y procedimientos ambientales y zoosanitarios para la realización de las actividades de zoocría con fines comerciales de especímenes de la especie Hélix aspersa que se encuentran en el territorio nacional, en ciclo cerrado, abierto y mixto, conforme a lo dispuesto en la Ley 1011 de 2006 y demás disposiciones que regulan la materia.

Lo anterior, sin perjuicio de la reglamentación que sobre el particular se expida en materia de salud pública.
