Art. 10. La Empresa del Acueducto que se forme de acuerdo con esta Ley se declara de utilidad pública y exenta de contribuciones o impuestos nacionales, departamentales y municipales, así como los instrumentos, materiales, útiles y herramientas que introduzca para el ensanche, conservación y reparación de los acueductos y sus anexidades.
