El que dentro del país o en el Exterior publique o de cualquiera manera divulgue noticias falsas, exageradas o tendenciosas, que pongan en peligro la economía nacional o el crédito público, incurrirá en prisión de uno a seis años y en multa de ciento a dos mil pesos. La pena se aumentará en una tercera parte si se ha obrado para favorecer intereses extranjeros.
