Los valores lícitamente recibidos por el titular de la pensión como anticipos y pagos definitivos de cesantía o préstamos autorizados sobre la misma, podrán ser deducidos del monto de la pensión en cuotas hasta del 5% de cada mensualidad que no exceda de $500.00, o hasta del 10% si excede de $500.00 sin pasar de $1.000.00, o hasta del 20% cuando el valor de la pensión mensual pase de $1.000.00. Con todo, cuando la jubilación ocurra después de un tiempo de servicio mayor de 20 años, el trabajador recibirá además de la pensión, la cesantía que corresponda al tiempo excedente.
