Ley 16 de 1979 · Por la cual se disponen unas inversiones forzosas a cargo de las compañías de seguros y de reaseguros generales y se dictan otras disposiciones

º. Las compañías de seguros generales y las de reaseguros generales deberán invertir y mantener en títulos representativos de deuda pública, una suma equivalente al cuarenta por ciento (40%) del valor total de las reservas técnicas de acuerdo con las cifras que registren en los balances a 31 de marzo de 1979.

Así mismo, las compañías de seguros generales y las de reaseguros generales deberán invertir y mantener en los mismos títulos una suma equivalente al 40% de los incrementos que registren en sus reservas técnicas desde la fecha señalada en el inciso anterior, con arreglo a los balances de los meses de marzo, junio, septiembre y diciembre.
