Dentro de los diez (10) días hábiles siguientes a la fecha de aceptación del empleo, la persona designada deberá tomar posesión legal. Por causa justificada a juicio de la autoridad nominadora, este término podrá prorrogarse si el designado no reside en el lugar del empleo, pero en todo caso la prórroga no podrá exceder de noventa (90) días hábiles y deberá constar por escrito.
