La vigilancia de la gestión fiscal de la Caja de Vivienda Militar corresponde a la Contraloría General de la República y se ejercerá conforme a las normas de la Ley 151 de 1959 y demás disposiciones, para lo cual prescribirá los métodos de contabilidad y dictará las reglamentaciones acordes con su índole, que garanticen su economía administrativa y hagan fácil y expedito su funcionamiento.
