Artículo 218 . El juez competente que adelante el proceso de reclamación o impugnación de la paternidad o maternidad, de oficio o a petición de parte, vinculará al proceso, siempre que fuere posible, al presunto padre biológico o la presunta madre biológica, con el fin de ser declarado en la misma actuación procesal la paternidad o la maternidad, en aras de proteger los derechos del menor, en especial el de tener una verdadera identidad y un nombre.
