º DEL AUXILIO DE TRANSPORTE. El Instituto reconocerá y pagará a los Funcionarios de Seguridad Social cuya asignación básica mensual no exceda de tres veces el salario mínimo, un auxilio de transporte en la cuantía que el Gobierno Nacional fije para los trabajadores particulares. El auxilio de que trata el presente artículo no se extenderá a los funcionarios que residan en el lugar de trabajo o que reciban servicio de transporte.
