Las sanciones de que trata el artículo 5° de la Ley 118 de 1928 se aplicarán de la manera siguiente: la respectiva autoridad sanitaria impondrá las multas, y la pena de prisión será impuesta por los Alcaldes, Inspectores Municipales o de Policía, a quienes la autoridad sanitaria enviará las diligencias correspondientes.
