° La Intendencia Nacional del Amazonas, con capital en Leticia, creada por la Ley 2 a de 1931, tendrá por límites los señalados en la expresada Ley. La población de Leticia continuará teniendo la categoría de Municipio, que le fue dada por la Ley 96 de 1928. El caserío de Caucayá, situado en la línea limítrofe de la Intendencia del Amazonas y Comisaría del Putumayo, estará en lo sucesivo bajo la jurisdicción de la expresada Intendencia.
