Seguro colectivo de responsabilidad civil. Una vez se otorgue el permiso transitorio, el organismo o institución solicitante deberá tomar un seguro colectivo de responsabilidad civil en cuantía no inferior a 250 salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes, por el tiempo que dure la misión y 12 meses más, con una compañía de seguros vigilada por la Superintendencia Financiera, con el fin de cubrir posibles indemnizaciones a pacientes o terceros, por eventuales perjuicios derivados de las actividades realizadas por los profesionales extranjeros autorizados para ejercer en el país.
