° Del auxilio de transporte. El Instituto reconocerá y pagará a los funcionarios de seguridad social cuya asignación básica mensual no exceda de tres (3) veces el salario mínimo, un auxilio de transporte de dos mil cuatrocientos cincuenta pesos ($ 2.450.00) mensuales. El auxilio de que trata el presente artículo no se extenderá a los funcionarios que residan en el lugar de trabajo o que reciban servicio de transporte.
