Curso en Ejercicio Básico de Defensa Controlada. Los perros asignados para vigilancia y seguridad privada, deben ser previamente entrenados en el ejercicio básico de defensa controlada, con un curso no inferior a cuatro (4) meses, el cual se demostrará con las certificaciones que para tal efecto expida la Policía Nacional- Escuela de Formación de Guías y Adiestramiento de Perros, el Centro de Adiestramiento Canino del Ejército Nacional o por entidades debidamente autorizadas por la Superintendencia de Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada.
