Subrogado por el artículo 1° del Decreto 223 de 2026.

Durante las fases lectiva y práctica el aprendiz estará cubierto por el Sistema de Seguridad Social en Salud y la cotización será cubierta plenamente por la empresa patrocinadora, sobre la base de un salario mínimo legal mensual vigente;

Durante la fase práctica el aprendiz estará afiliado al Sistema de Riesgos Laborales por la Administradora de Riesgos Laborales, (ARL), que cubre la empresa patrocinadora sobre la base de un salario mínimo legal mensual vigente. Cuando las fases lectiva y práctica se realicen en forma simultánea, el aprendiz estará cubierto por salud y riesgos laborales. (Decreto número 933 de 2003, artículo 5 ° )
