Indemnización por muerte. A la muerte de un Alférez, Guardiamarina, pilotín o alumno de las Escuelas de Formación de Oficiales, en actividades relacionadas con su preparación militar o del servicio, sus beneficiarios, en el orden determinado en el artículo 189 del presente estatuto, tendrán derecho a que por el Tesoro Público se les pague una indemnización igual a doce (12) meses de sueldo básico correspondiente a un Subteniente o Teniente de Corbeta. Si la muerte ocurriere por acción directa del enemigo, la indemnización se pagará doble.
