° Divídese el Departamento del Cauca en dos zonas agronómicas, así: primera zona, integrada por las antiguas Provincias de Popayán, Silvia, Caldas y El Palia, y segunda zona, compuesta por las antiguas Provincias de Santander, Camilo Torres y Puerto Tejada. La residencia de los Agrónomos regionales será en Popayán y Santander, respectivamente. Agréganse los Municipios de Guapi, López y Timbiquí a la segunda zona agronómica de Nariño, para que las atienda el agrónomo regional de Tumaco.
