Art. 22. En el caso de establecer una aduana en las bocas del Atrato, los buques que hayan de subir por él, para pasar al Pacífico, tocarán en dicha aduana a declarar su intencion de pasar. i allí serán cerradas i selladas sus escotillas, i se pondrán a bordo el individuo o individuos del resguardo que hayan de vijilarlos hasta el estremo del canal en el Pacífico, i viceversa, se ejecutará esta misma operacion con los buques que, en el estremo del canal en el Pacífico, declaren su intencion de pasar al Atlántico.
