Antes del traslado, el detenido o condenado debe ser examinado por el Médico, quien dará sobre el particular su concepto escrito. Si el Médico considera que el detenido o condenado se encuentra en condiciones de salud que no le permiten soportar sin peligro el viaje, el Director suspenderá la partida e informará a la autoridad que ordenó el traslado.
