º . Funciones de la Unidad de Desarrollo Agrario. Además de las funciones generales previstas en el Artículo 24 del Decreto 2410 de 1989, la Unidad de Desarrollo Agrario ejercerá las siguientes funciones

Coordinar la operación de un sistema de información sectorial, geográfico y rural para el seguimiento del sector y el análisis de coyuntura.

Orientar, promover y realizar en coordinación con organismos y entidades del sector y de otros sectores, la formulación de políticas, planes y programas de desarrollo rural y de focalización del gasto social rural.
