Del otorgamiento. Para el otorgamiento de la Carta de Naturaleza o Resolución de Inscripción, los extranjeros deberán acreditar, debidamente mediante documento idóneo los requisitos a que se refiere el artículo 9° de la Ley 43 de 1993.

Parágrafo

En caso de que el peticionario no haya definido su situación militar en el país de origen, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores una vez se perfeccione el trámite de nacionalización, informará al Ministerio de Defensa con el fin de que el nacionalizado defina su situación militar en Colombia, siempre y cuando el solicitante sea menor de cincuenta (50) años.
