Los billetes que emita el Banco de la República de conformidad con la autorización contenida en el artículo 6º de la Ley 82 de 1931, sustitutivo del artículo 16 de la ley 25 de 1923, serán de las siguientes denominaciones: medio peso, un peso, dos pesos, cinco pesos, diez pesos, veinte pesos, cincuenta pesos, cien pesos, y quinientos pesos.
