Los elementos incautados por la Policía Nacional, con excepción de armas de fuego, que en el término de seis (6) meses no fueren reclamados por sus propietarios, quedarán al servicio de la institución en calidad de posesión. Transcurrido un (1) año en tal condición, pasarán a pertenecer a la Policía Nacional y se incorporarán en los inventarios correspondientes, previa reglamentación que establezca el Gobierno.
