Los que por cualquier procedimiento borraren leyendas o sellos de anulación de estampillas nacionales de cualquier clase, o los que disimularen perforaciones efectuadas en ellas, sufrirán la pena de uno a cuatro años de presidio y multa de diez a cien pesos. Si los hechos de que trata este artículo se cometieren por los encargados de timbrar o custodiar las estampillas, se les aumentará la pena en una cuarta parte más, y serán inhabilitados perpetuamente para ejercer empleo público.
