El archivo diplomático es la Oficina donde deben observarse y consultarse todos los documentos que, provenientes de entidades o particulares, lleguen al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores. En consecuencia, no es permitido a los Jefes de la diversas Secciones formar archivos especiales de los asuntos que cursan en ellas.
