Art. 106. Los estanquilleros servirán por si mismos su destino i no podrán ausentarse del lugar de la parroquia en que tengan la oficina de espendio, sin dejar, con previo aviso i consentimiento del estanquero proveedor una persona que desempeñe sus funciones bajo su responsabilidad; i en caso de no hacerlo así, serán responsables subsidiariamente de los perjuicios que por este motivo pueda sufrir la tenta, así como también por falta de abasto de tabaco que por su culpa pueda haber en el distrito parroquial.
