Derecho a morir dignamente. Toda persona tiene derecho a morir con dignidad y a que se le respete su voluntad de permitir que el proceso de la muerte siga su curso natural, en la fase terminal de la enfermedad, por lo tanto si el paciente lo permite el equipo de salud deberá otorgarle los cuidados paliativos que sean posibles hasta el último momento. (Artículo 44 del Decreto 1543 de 1997)
