Es prohibido igualmente, la refundición de las mismas monedas para convertirlas en joyas que no sean exclusivamente de uso personal; y se considerará fraudulento todo intento de exportación de joyas de oro y plata cuya fabricación se haya hecho durante la vigencia de la Ley 97 de 1920 cuando pugnen por su extravagancia con las costumbres actuales del país.
