Art. 711. La autoridad competente fijará, según las circunstancias, la gratificación de salvamento, que nunca pasará de la mitad del valor de las especies.

Pero si el salvamento de las especies se hiciere bajo las órdenes i dirección de la autoridad pública, se restituirán a los interesados mediante el abono de las espensas, sin gratificación de salvamento.
