El patrono es quien debe al asalariado las prestaciones sociales legalmente establecidas. Cuando el patrono es un contratista, el dueño de la empresa o base industrial es siempre responsable en caso de incumplimiento por parte del contratista, quedando con derecho a repetir contra éste los valores pagados.
