Art. 8.° El tenedor de libros llevará los de la cuenta jeneral i la estadística de la correspondencia, impresos i encomiendas que jiren por las oficinas del ramo, siendo responsable por los errores aritméticos que cometa en los asientos de las partidas, en los traslados al mayor i en la formacion de los balances i cuadros que se le encomienden.
