siempre que llegue a noticia de un Juez de Circuito o Municipal que dentro del territorio de su jurisdicción ha muerto un extranjero sin dejar albacea, cónyuge sobreviviente, ni herederos conocidos a cuyo cargo deban estar los bienes dejados por el difunto, ha de proceder de oficio, o a virtud de petición o denuncio de cualquiera persona, a practicar las diligencias preventivas de que trata el artículo 895.
