El ingreso al Ejército se hará en la clase de soldado para los individuos de tropa, y en la de Subteniente para los Oficiales de guerra.

Para obtener este grado, en tiempo de paz, es necesario que se haga el curso correspondiente en la Escuela Militar, como resultado satisfactorio.
