ARTICULO 1 o. Naturaleza. La Superintendencia de Control de Cambios, que a partir de la fecha de vigencia del presente Decreto se denominará Superintendencia de Cambios, es un organismo adscrito al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público encargado de vigilar y controlar el cumplimientos de las normas que conforman el régimen cambiario, así como investigar y sancionar las violaciones a dicho régimen.
