SOCIEDAD DE ECONOMIA MIXTA “RENACIMIENTO”. Autorízase al Gobierno Nacional para constituir una sociedad de economía mixta que adoptará la denominación “Renacimiento”, cuyo objeto será la producción y comercialización de bienes y servicios fabricados en los centros de reclusión. El Gobierno Nacional mantendrá más del cincuenta por ciento (50%) del capital accionario.

La empresa dedicará parte de sus utilidades a los programas de resocialización y rehabilitación de internos. En los estatutos de la sociedad se determinará la parte de las utilidades que deben invertirse en estos programas.
