Las empresas metropolitanas o urbanas con departamento de servicio periférico podrán vincular los vehículos particulares habilitados por la autoridad municipal competente para los cuales no tendrá en cuenta lo prescrito en el artículo 76 del Decreto 1787 de 1990 respecto a la edad de los automotores. Estos automotores no harán parte del modelo promedio de los vehículos de la empresa.
