De conformidad con el articulo 41 del Decreto 3541 de 1983, los responsables que se encuentren dentro del régimen simplificado llevarán un registro auxiliar de ventas y compras que consistirá en la conservación discriminada de las facturas de compra de bienes y servicios gravados y de bienes no gravados, y del registro de ventas de que trata el inciso 3º del artículo 10 de este Decreto. Estos mismos responsables deberán efectuar al final del año un cálculo discriminado o global del impuesto a cargo. Dicho cálculo hará las veces de cuenta mayor o de balance.
