º. Las categorías de que trata el artículo anterior podrán ser remuneradas o ad honorem , según lo determine el Poder Ejecutivo. El Encargado de Negocios puede serlo en propiedad o ad interim . Este último carácter lo asumirán los Consejeros o Secretarios por separación del Embajador o Ministro, prolongada por más de un mes. El Agregado o Adjunto puede ser civil o militar. Estos últimos serán del grado de Capitán a Teniente Coronel, que hayan cursado en las academias militares. Para desempeñar todo puesto diplomático, con remuneración o ad honorem , se requiere la condición de ciudadano colombiano.
