Carné de afiliación. Las Entidades Promotoras de Salud están en la obligación de expedir un carné a cada uno de sus afiliados que será el documento con el cual estos tendrán derecho a exigir los servicios por ella suministrados. El Ministerio de Salud definirá mediante resolución las características e información que deberá contener dicho carné. El carné de afiliación tendrá validez mientras los afiliados conserven tal calidad.
