El superior inmediato o el Jefe del organismo administrativo que inicie acción disciplinaria deberá dar aviso oportuno a la Procuraduría General de la Nación. Si ésta estuviere adelantando investigación por los mismos hechos y en relación con el mismo o los mismos acusados, o resolviere adelantarla, lo comunicará así a los mencionados funcionarios, con el fin de que suspendan el diligenciamiento y le remitan las diligencias en el estado en que se encuentren.
