La potestad disciplinaria se ejercerá en la Corte Suprema de Justicia, el Consejo de Estado y los tribunales, por salas disciplinarias integradas por tres magistrados, escogidos en forma rotatoria y por orden alfabético de apellidos, salvo cuando exista sala dedica al ejercicio de dicha función.
