Durante el trámite de legalización, el interesado en desarrollar sus labores mineras deberá cumplir con los requisitos de orden ambiental establecidos por la Autoridad Ambiental competente, con el pago de las regalías respectivas, so pena de que se suspenda la actividad minera hasta que se demuestre el cumplimiento de dichas obligaciones.
