Las prestaciones sociales que conforme a este Estatuto deben reconocerse a los Oficiales o los herederos de éstos en caso de muerte, cundo fueren causadas por hallarse en comisión del servicio o en tratamiento médico en el exterior, serán liquidadas y pagadas en pesos colombianos en la proporción que se liquidarán si el Oficial las hubiere causado en tiempo normal en la Guarnición de Bogotá.
