Las empresas de vigilancia y seguridad privada que utilicen perros pueden diseñar y poner en marcha un plan o programa de responsabilidad social consistente en la recepción y recuperación de perros sin hogar, abandonados o vulnerables para su entrega en adopción o albergue permanente, así como donaciones de medicamentos, insumos y alimentos a fundaciones y proteccionistas.

Ley 2454 de 2025 · por la cual se promueve el desarrollo de alternativas tecnológicas en materia de seguridad, vigilancia privada e inspección de sustancias u objetos, se mejora el bienestar de los perros usados en estas actividades, y se dictan otras disposiciones.
