El Jefe del organismo o entidad investigada dispondrá de un término de ocho (8) días hábiles para presentar los descargos y para solicitar y aportar pruebas. Vencido este término el funcionario investigador tendrá quince (15) días para diligenciar las pruebas solicitadas que estimare procedente y las demás que considere necesarias para el esclarecimiento de los hechos.
