Artículo séptimo. El encaje de los depósitos podrá consistir en oro o en otras especies monetarias, en divisas que sean de libre disposición del Banco, en títulos representativos de monedas extranjeras de primera clase que reúnan los requisitos señalados en el artículo anterior; pero la plata o los certificados de plata, sólo podrán computarse hasta concurrencia del 50% del encaje.
