Cuando el extranjero resultare incapacitado físicamente para continuar ejerciendo la profesión u oficio declarado, el Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad podrá concederle el cambio antes de cumplirse el término a que se refiere el artículo anterior, para lo cual deberá presentar ante dicha dependencia el certificado del Instituto de Medicina Legal en el que se determine si la incapacidad es permanente o temporal.
